Our Organizational Terms & Conditions

These policies apply to all centers

1. Introduction

Welcome to SID Centers Inc. (“SID Centers,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). SID Centers Inc. is a nonprofit mentoring organization serving teens and young adults ages 13 to 25.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in our programs, use of our website, communications, events, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By enrolling in our programs, accessing our website, or participating in our services, you agree to these Terms.

If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on their behalf.

2. Eligibility and Participation

SID Centers provides mentoring, educational, leadership, and support services for individuals between the ages of 13 and 25.

By enrolling:

  • You confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.

  • Participants under 18 must provide signed parental/guardian consent.

  • Participants agree to follow program rules, behavioral expectations, and safety guidelines.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate participation for:

  • Unsafe or inappropriate behavior

  • Harassment, bullying, or violence

  • Repeated violation of program rules

3. Code of Conduct

All participants, parents/guardians, volunteers, and mentors must:

  • Treat others with respect and dignity

  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct

  • Follow all safety procedures

  • Use facilities and digital platforms responsibly

Failure to comply may result in removal from the program.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Participation in mentoring activities, workshops, community events, and outings may involve inherent risks.

By participating, you acknowledge:

  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

  • SID Centers Inc., its officers, directors, staff, volunteers, and partners are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages except where prohibited by law.

Parents/guardians of minors expressly consent to participation and assume associated risks.

5. Medical Authorization

In the event of a medical emergency:

  • SID Centers staff may seek emergency medical treatment.

  • Parents/guardians authorize medical professionals to provide necessary care.

Participants are responsible for disclosing relevant medical conditions, allergies, and emergency contact information.

6. Transportation Policy

If transportation is provided or coordinated:

  • Participants and parents/guardians acknowledge transportation risks.

  • Drivers may include staff, volunteers, or approved third parties.

  • Proper behavior is required during transportation.

7. Media Release

By participating in SID Centers programs, you grant permission for SID Centers Inc. to:

  • Photograph, record video, or capture audio

  • Use participant names, images, or likenesses

  • Publish content for educational, promotional, fundraising, and marketing purposes

This may include use on:

  • Website

  • Social media platforms

  • Printed materials

  • Newsletters

  • Grant and donor reports

If you do not consent, you must submit written notice opting out prior to participation.

Parents or legal guardians must provide consent for minors under 18.

8. Text Message & Call Opt-In Consent

By providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive:

  • Program updates

  • Event reminders

  • Emergency notifications

  • Mentorship-related communications

  • Fundraising or organizational updates (if applicable)

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to text messages

  • Contacting us directly at [Insert Contact Email]

For participants under 18, parental consent is required.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of participation.

9. Digital Communications & Online Conduct

Participants engaging in virtual mentoring sessions or online platforms agree to:

  • Maintain respectful communication

  • Not record sessions without written permission

  • Not share confidential information outside of sessions

SID Centers may monitor digital platforms for safety and compliance.

10. Confidentiality & Mandatory Reporting

SID Centers strives to maintain participant confidentiality. However, confidentiality may be broken if:

  • There is suspicion of abuse or neglect

  • A participant expresses intent to harm themselves or others

  • Disclosure is required by law

Staff and volunteers are mandated reporters where required by law.

11. Donations & Payments

All donations to SID Centers Inc. are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Program fees, if applicable:

  • Must be paid by stated deadlines

  • May be subject to cancellation policies

12. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by SID Centers, including curriculum, branding, and content, are the property of SID Centers Inc. and may not be reproduced without written consent.

13. Non-Discrimination Policy

SID Centers Inc. does not discriminate based on:

  • Race

  • Color

  • National origin

  • Religion

  • Gender

  • Gender identity

  • Sexual orientation

  • Disability

  • Socioeconomic status

We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment.

14. Termination of Services

SID Centers reserves the right to terminate participation or access to services at its discretion to protect safety, integrity, or mission alignment.

15. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
